Cheaters never win
Tech Crunch reports that a well known PR firm has thrown ethics out the window. The firm has evidently hired interns to pose as community members and users in Apple’s App Store.
Where did the whole concept of transparency and honest communication go? There is only one direction for this type of behavior and it’s not good.
PR firms large or small must understand, business as usual is no longer acceptable. Members of social networks and communities will learn quickly what is real and what is not.
The lesson, if it’s not real it will be found out. Remember transparency and honesty are the keys to social media.
